Family Time
Here we are in our shopping mode (actually on our way into the Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory for a treat) on Main Street in Breckenridge. Alex was happy to be in the stroller. When we made him walk you'd have thought his life was ending! Wah! He is still in the "you can't make me smile" mode in most of these pictures. He's doing better, now!
Breckenridge
In October of 2009, we used our timeshare week to take a break in Breck. It was just nearing the end of the beautiful fall season here in the mountains, and it was an amazing trip! We all needed a get-away and some real R & R!
Grandmama Veronika came up for a night and did a little shopping with us as well as took some family pictures.
And Alex Makes Five!
I know it has been a while since I've posted. Hopefully you can follow Shay's blog for more updates, she's quicker than me. Just ask for an invite, though, as hers is private.
Many many changes in our family, the most important of which.... Alex is official! We went to court yesterday and everything is final. We have the papers to prove it! He is such a blessing in our lives! We didn't want to post until the adoption was final, so now you may be overloaded with pictures!
Mason Alexander Christensen is 2 1/2 years old and rounds off our family quite nicely. He teases his sisters almost as much as daddy does. He has been with us officially since August and the whole adoption process went rather smoothly.
Boys are sooooo different! Just have two girls and then a boy, and you'll know! We'll try to keep you posted on the events of our family a little better, now!

Goodbye, London
Last picture sent by the tour guide, Carolyn. I know we were very lucky to have such a good tour guide posting pictures almost every day. Thanks to everyone who supported Shay with dollars, prayers, and encouragement! I'm sure it was a trip she'll never forget!
Now all they have left of their excursion are two very long plane rides. Bet they sleep all the way back to Colorado!
Greenwich
Last day. They are sad, parents are happy. Friday, they went to Greenwich, had a guided tour of Windsor Castle, saw the changing of the guards. They took a river cruise on the Thames and had Bangers and Mash for dinner with Banoffee pie for dessert. Sounds yummy, eh? I'll give you some journalling and some photo updates when Shay gets home. (I know these pictures are hard to view.) I can't wait for show and tell!
Loving London
Thursday was the biggest day on the agenda. The list is too long to even list, but here were some of the London highlights:
Buckingham Palace
Big Ben
Westminster Abbey
Hyde Park
St. Paul's Cathedral
Piccadilly Circus
Covent Garden
Trafalgar Square
London Eye Millennium Wheel
Dinner at Hard Rock Cafe.
Whew! I'll bet they are beat.
